The 2009 American Music Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday (October 13), and Jay-Z was nominated for two awards:
“Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist” and “Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album”. The show will air live on Sunday, November 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and will include performances of Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert from “American Idol”.

Im not a hip hop fan at all. But I like what you have, I had a idea. I think that if you did a Micheal Jackson style record you would blow up. Not only would you have your fan base but you would also have a new fan base. I think this would be a good idea because there are many generas you as a artist can influence. YOUR THE KING OF NEW YORK. Come on make some pop stuff, put a R&B twist on the pop music, its never been done correctly. If anyone can do it you can. We want it the world wants it, we need another michael, NO we need somthing new that not only embodies him as the greatest male artist of all time but takes it to the next level, cause thats what it is all about is the next level.
